Couple of unsuccessful matches could make Movsisyan sit among substitutes – Russian football analyst

I am not sure whether everything will be very easy at FC Spartak Moscow for its newly acquired forward Yura Movsisyan, Russian football analyst Evgeny Lovchev stated.

The Russian specialist reflected on the Armenian national football team member, 25-year-old Movsisyan’s recent transfer to Spartak.

“Movsisyan had health issues in the beginning of the training camp [of Spartak], but he seems to have recovered. It is important for Yura that the team uses his strengths: his speed, [and] his tendency to strike. It is indispensable for Movsisyan that Spartak attacks a lot and he receives the ball often.

“[But] at the same time, I am not sure whether everything will be very easy for him. There is a huge competition at Spartak’s offensive line. Couple of unsuccessful matches, and Movsisyan could be in the substitutes’ bench. He is a proud boy and is used to getting a lot of playing time. The competition at [Russia’s FC] Krasnodar [where Movsisyan used to play prior to his transfer] was weak, but it is different here. The trust of the coach is important,” Sovetski Sport quotes Evgeny Lovchev as saying.
