Lamine Yamal, the Spanish winger for the reigning Spanish champions, FC Barcelona, has set a new goalscoring record in the Champions League.
The 19-year-old player scored in the Matchday 4 fixture against Aston Villa, bringing his total tally in the tournament to 14 goals.
Yamal has now become the record holder for the most Champions League goals scored by a player under the age of 20, surpassing Kylian Mbappe (who had 13).
In this match, Barcelona defeated Aston Villa 3–0.
