The World Weightlifting Championships are currently underway in the Chinese city of Ningbo. On November 2, European champion Rafik Harutyunyan (group B) and Martin Poghosyan (group C) took to the platform.
In the 85 kg weight category, Rafik Harutyunyan recorded a total of 345 kg (155 kg in the snatch + 190 kg in the clean and jerk), finishing in 11th place.
Competing in the same weight category, Armenia’s second representative, Martin Poghosyan, lifted a total of 337 kg (147 kg + 190 kg), placing second in group C.
