Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has become the highest-scoring German player in Premier League history, following his goal against Liverpool in a Matchweek 9 encounter, the Premier League announced.
The goal marked the 27-year-old’s 46th in the English Premier League, allowing him to surpass Ilkay Gundogan, who scored 45 times during his spell with Manchester City.
Kai Havertz has been playing in the English top flight since 2020, having netted 19 goals for Chelsea and 27 for Arsenal.
