A German champion with Bayern Munich and a World Cup bronze medalist with the England national team Harry Kane was awarded the 2026 Ballon d'Or.
The awards ceremony is taking place in London.
Last season, Harry Kane played in 65 matches for Bayern Munich and the England national team, scoring 73 goals.

The women's Ballon d'Or was awarded to Spanish midfielder Alexia Putellas, who plays for London City Lionesses.
Harry Kane was also named the best forward of the year.
A player for Athletic Bilbao and the Spanish national team Unai Simon was named Goalkeeper of the Year.
Luis de la Fuente, head coach of the Spanish national team, received the Coach of the Year award.
Lamine Yamal, the 19-year-old winger for the Spanish national team and the Spanish champions, FC Barcelona, was named Young Player of the Year for the third consecutive time.
