Karlen Hovhannisyan: It is a great honor to represent my country

The 21-year-old Armenian national team midfielder and new signing for the Russian club Akron Karlen Hovhannisyan has spoken about his goals with the national team.

"I want to give my all and do everything in my power to help the national team perform as well as possible. I am confident that every player on the team will do their utmost to achieve this goal. We all share the same objective and are ready to work hard to reach it.

It is a great honor for me to represent my country, and I want to live up to the trust placed in me by the fans and the coaching staff.

Spertsyan and Tiknizyan play in top leagues, and that is immediately apparent at the national team level. They possess high tactical discipline and the ability to read the game excellently and dictate the play. Training and playing alongside such footballers is a fantastic learning experience," Hovhannisyan said, as quoted by Euro-Football.

Karlen Hovhannisyan has been included in the Armenian national team's squad for the Nations League opening match against Latvia, which will take place on September 25 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, kicking off at 20:00.
