Xavi, the newly appointed head coach of the Netherlands national team, commented on the 1–1 draw against Germany in the first round of the Nations League group stage.
"I am satisfied because we played very well. To be honest, today we were stronger than Germany and deserved more. We performed particularly well in the second half. I am very happy that we showcased our style of football," the UEFA website quotes Xavi as saying.
In the second round of the Nations League, the Netherlands national team will play away against Serbia.
