Armenia's national teams once again secured convincing victories at the 46th World Chess Olympiad taking place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
In the second round, the men's team defeated Scotland with a score of 3.5–0.5.
Grandmasters Shant Sargsyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, and Manuel Petrosyan claimed victories.
Hayk Martirosyan's game ended in a draw.
The women's team defeated the Singaporean team with a score of 3–1.
International Master Lilit Mkrtchyan, Woman Grandmaster Mariam Mkrtchyan, and Woman International Master Susanna Gaboyan secured victories. Anahit Mkrtchyan lost her match.
Eleven rounds will be played at the Olympiad.
