The pairings for the second round of the World Chess Olympiad, taking place in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, have been announced.
The Armenian national team will face Scotland.
The Armenian women's national team will compete against Singapore.
In the first round, the Armenian team defeated Barbados 4–0, while the Armenian women's team beat Hong Kong (China) 3.5–0.5.
The Olympiad consists of 11 rounds.
The Armenian national team consists of Hayk Martirosyan, Robert Hovhannisyan, Shant Sargsyan, Gabriel Sargsyan, and Manuel Petrosyan. The team's coach is Arman Pashikyan.
The women's national team consists of Elina Danielian, Mariam Mkrtchyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Susanna Gaboyan, and Anahit Mkrtchyan. The team's coach is Zaven Andriasyan.
