Davit Hakobyan has joined the ranks of FC Pyunik

21-year-old attacking midfielder Davit Hakobyan has joined the ranks of FC Pyunik, the Yerevan club's official website reports.

In the 2020/21 season, Davit played for Academy-05 in the Armenia U-18 Championship, then in 2021 moved to the system of BKMA Yerevan, starting his performances in BKMA-2, which plays in the First League of Armenia.

On February 26, 2022, in the Armenian Premier League match against Pyunik, Davit Hakobyan made his debut in the main team of BKMA. In total, he played 37 matches for the "army men", scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists.

Davit Hakobyan's previous team was Železiarne Podbrezová, a representative of the Slovak Top League, whose colors he defended since June 2025. In the Slovak club, the young football player played 21 matches, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.

Davit has also played for Armenian national teams of all age groups, and in May 2025, he was called up to the Armenia national team for the first time.
