France head coach Didier Deschamps has named the favorites of their 2026 FIFA World Cup semifinal clash against Spain, which he says are the latter, L’Equipe reports.
“Spain are the clear favorites for the upcoming match [against France]. I don’t want to put pressure on [Spain manager] Luis de la Fuente. He knows very well what results are expected of him at home. The Spaniards have conceded only one goal in six matches. They are the favorites. I am convinced we will have a spectacular match,” Deschamps said.
The France vs. Spain semifinal match will be played Tuesday in Dallas, USA, and will kick off at 23:00 Armenia time.
