Zlatko Dalic has resigned as Croatia national football squad head coach, the Croatian Football Federation website reports.
The 59-year-old Croatian football coach had led his country’s national team for nine years. Under his leadership, Croatia became the 2018 World Cup runners-up, the 2022 World Cup bronze medalists, and the 2023 Nations League silver medalists.
Croatia had lost to Portugal in the Round of 32 of the current 2026 World Cup.
