In their match in Los Angeles in the Round of 32, the reigning European champions defeated Austria 3-0.
Real Sociedad striker Mikel Oyarzabal opened the scoring in the 36th minute.
Tottenham Hotspur defender Pedro Porro netted Spain’s second goal in the 66th minute.
And Oyarzabal scored a brace in the 89th minute.
In the Round of 16, Spain will face the winners of the Portugal vs. Croatia clash in the Round of 32.
