Reigning Italian Serie A champions and cup winner Inter Milan have signed a new contract with former Armenian national team captain, 37-year-old midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
It is expected to run until the end of next season.
“Experience, leadership qualities, a winning mentality, as well as unwavering composure and control in the middle of the pitch. After four successful seasons, Mkhitaryan will continue to compete at Inter until 2027,” the club said in a statement.
Last season, Mkhitaryan participated in 39 matches, scored 4 goals, and made 3 assists for Inter.
Mkhitaryan has been playing for Inter since 2022, with whom he became a two-time Italian Serie A champion, cup winner, and super cup winner.
