Uzbek national team striker Eldor Shomurodov has been named the scorer of the best goal of the 2026 World Cup group stage, according to the FIFA website, which had conducted a respective vote.
Accordingly, Shomurodov's goal in Uzbekistan's match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo (1-3) received 36 percent of the votes.
Haiti striker Wilson Isidor’ goal against Morocco (2-4) was second, with 26.5 percent.
Bosnia and Herzegovina striker Kerim Alajbegovic's goal against Qatar (3-1) completes this top three, with 24.9 percent.
