Santos' 34-year-old star striker Neymar has resumed training with the Brazilian national team and is preparing with the squad for their match against Scotland in the third—and final—round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reports the press service of the Brazilian Football Confederation.
Neymar had suffered a calf muscle injury on May 17 and missed Brazil's first two 2026 World Cup group stage matches against Morocco (1-1) and Haiti (3-0). He has now fully returned to training and can play in the upcoming game.
The Scotland vs. Brazil match will be played on Thursday and will kick off at 02:00 Armenia time.
