2026 World Cup: Switzerland beat Bosnia and Herzegovina

Switzerland played Bosnia and Herzegovina in Inglewood, USA, and won 4-1 in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Freiburg midfielder Johan Manzambi opened the scoring in the 74th minute.

Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic was sent off in the 80th minute.

Sevilla midfielder Ruben Vargas doubled the Swiss lead in the 84th minute.

Manzambi scored a brace in the 90th minute.

Slovan Liberec midfielder Ermin Mahmic reduced the goal deficit in the third minute of added time.

Switzerland and Sunderland midfielder Granit Xhaka converted a penalty in the sixth minute of added time.

Switzerland are top of Group B, with 4 points.
