The first round of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup has ended.
In one of the last two matches, Ghana defeated Panama 1-0. Nordsjaelland midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi scored the only goal in the 5th minute of added time.
And in the other match, Colombia beat Uzbekistan 3-1.
Colombia and Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz opened the scoring in the 40th minute.
Basaksehir striker Abbosbek Fayzullaev netted Uzbekistan’s equalizer in the 60th minute.
Bayern Munich striker Luis Diaz put Colombia ahead again in the 65th minute.
And Rosario Central striker Jaminton Campaz netted Colombia’s winning goal in the 9th minute of added time.
