Arsenal hosted Atletico Madrid in London, won 1-0 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinals, and advanced to the final.
Bukayo Saka, the English striker of last season’s English Premier League runners-up, scored the only goal in the 44th minute
The two clubs had played a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
The other place in the final will be contested in the second leg in Munich Wednesday between reigning French Ligue 1 champions and Champions League titleholders PSG and newly-crowned German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
