Atletico Madrid and PSG have reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Atletico hosted Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona and lost 1-2 in the second leg of their quarterfinal clash.
Barca’s star striker Lamine Yamal opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Striker Ferran Torres doubled the visitors’ lead in the 24th minute. But Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman scored the lone goal Atletico needed in the 31st minute. Atletico had won the first leg 2-0.
French Ligue 1 champions and Champions League winners PSG were hosted by English Premier League champions Liverpool and won 2-0 thanks to a brace from French striker Ousmane Dembele. PSG had won 2-0 also in the first leg.
