La Liga: Barca lose to Girona, fall behind Real in standings

Reigning champions Barcelona were hosted by Girona and lost 1-2 in Matchday 24 of Spanish La Liga football 
Barca and Spain star winger Lamine Yamal missed a penalty in the third minute of added time in the first half.

But Barca's Spanish defender Pau Cubarsi opened the scoring in the 59th minute.

Girona's French midfielder Thomas Lemar netted the equalizer in the 62nd minute.

And Spanish midfielder Fran Beltran scored the winning goal for the home team in the 87th minute.
Barca dropped to second place, with 58 points, and are 2 points behind leaders Real Madrid in the current La Liga standings. Girona are, twelfth, with 29 points.
