Reigning Spanish La Liga champions and cup holders Barcelona were hosted by Atletico Madrid and lost 0-4 in the first leg of the semifinals of Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup).
Barca's Spanish defender Eric Garcia scored an own goal in the 6th minute, and he received a red card in the 86th minute.
French striker Antoine Griezmann doubled Atletico's lead in the 14th minute.
Nigerian striker Ademola Lookman also scored in the 33rd minute.
And Argentine striker Julian Alvarez netted the home side's fourth goal in the second minute of added time in the first half.
The second leg will be played in Barcelona on March 3.
