FC Spartak Moscow is the most expensive football brand name in Russia.
The international PricewaterhouseCoopers (trading as PwC) consulting-auditing company conducted an independent research to determine the brand value of the Russian capital city club.
In line with this study, the brand-name value of Spartak was €60.8 million, as of June 30, 2012, which greatly exceeds the values of other Russian and even Ukrainian football brands. These data were provided by BrandFinance, Sovsport reports.
To note, Armenian national football squad forward Yura Movsisyan recently signed a deal with FC Spartak Moscow.
