Champions League: Game results of the day

The last Matchday 8 of the UEFA Champions League was held Wednesday.

Spanish La Liga titleholders Barcelona defeated Denmark’s Copenhagen 4-1.

Last season’s La Liga runners-up Real Madrid lost to Benfica in Portugal 2-4.

Last season’s Italian Serie A runners-up Inter Milan defeated Borussia Dortmund in Germany 2-0. Former captain of the Armenian national team, 37-year-old midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was in the starting lineup of Inter, and he was subbed off in the 88th minute.

Last season’s English Premier League runners-up Arsenal beat Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan 3-2, recorded their eighth win, and finished first in the standings.
