The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from February 6 to 22.
And Armenia will have five participants in this event, informs the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
The International Ski and Snowboard Federation has confirmed the participation of three Armenian skiers in the 2026 Winter Olympics. Cross-country skiers Mikael Mikaelyan and Katya Galstyan, as well as alpine skier Harutyun Harutyunyan, have been allocated Olympic spots thanks to the corresponding points.
Armenia’s Karina Akopova/Nikita Rakhmanin pair skating duo also have an Olympic spot in figure skating. This pair had qualified for the 2026 Winter Olympics on September 25, 2025, when they had finished second at the ISU Skate to Milano Figure Skating Qualifier 2025 - Beijing, held in the Chinese capital.
