Copa del Rey: Real knocked out

Real Madrid have been eliminated from the rest of the competition at Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup).
In the Round of 16, Real were hosted by Albacete, who are currently seventeenth in the Spanish Segunda Division, and lost 2-3.

Spanish midfielder Javi Villar gave Albacete the lead in the 42nd minute.

Real's Argentine midfielder Franco Mastantuono restored parity in the third minute of added time of the first half.

Spanish striker Jefte Betancor netted Albacete's second goal in the 82nd minute.

Real Madrid's Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia equalized in the first minute of added time,

Betancor netted his second—and Albacete's winning—goal three minutes later.

Spaniard Alvaro Arbeloa made his debut as Real’s manager, replacing Xabi Alonso.
