Arsenal have booked their spot in the semifinals of the EFL (English Football League) Cup.
In the quarterfinals, last season’s English Premier League runners-up hosted Crystal Palace in the London derby and won 8-7 on penalties.
The match had ended 1-1 after regular time.
The visitors' French defender Maxence Lacroix scored an own goal in the 80th minute. And English defender Marc Guehi restored parity in the 5th minute of added time.
Arsenal's opponents in the EFL Cup semifinals will be Chelsea. The other semifinal pairs are Newcastle United and Manchester City.
