Last season’s runners-up Real Madrid were hosted by Girona and drew 1-1 in Matchday 14 of the Spanish La Liga football.
Girona’s Moroccan midfielder Azzedine Ounahi opened the scoring in the 45th minute.
And in the 67th minute, French forward Kylian Mbappe netted Real’s equalizer from the penalty spot.
Real are second, with 33 points, in the current La Liga standings, and are 1 point behind titleholders Barcelona.
