World No. 2 Jannik Sinner has advanced to the quarterfinals in the men’s singles competition at the Paris Masters. In the Round of 16, the Italian tennis star defeated World No. 21 Francisco Cerundolo (Argentina) 7–5, 6–1. The match lasted 1 hour and 26 minutes.
Sinner’s opponent in the quarterfinals will be World No. 7 Ben Shelton (USA).
World No. 13 Daniil Medvedev (Russia) also continues in the competition, having defeated World No. 45 Lorenzo Sonego (Italy) 3–6, 7–6 (7–5), 6–4 in the Round of 16.
The prize fund of the Paris Masters is €6.1 million.
