The 2025 European Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships continue in Durres, Albania.
Team Armenia member Garnik Cholakyan, competing in the 60kg category, lifted 115 kg and 120 kg in the Snatch. With this performance, he won the gold medal in this exercise.
Cholakyan was again first in the Clean and Jerk. He consecutively lifted 140 kg, 145 kg, and 147 kg.
And with a total of 267 kg, Garnik Cholakyan became the U23 European weightlifting champion.
