Jannik Sinner has advanced to the semifinals of the China Open tournament in Beijing.
In the quarterfinals, the four-time Grand Slam champion and world No.2 Italian tennis star defeated world No.57 Fabian Marozsan (Hungary) in two sets—6:1, 7:5. The match lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes.
Sinner will face world No.8 Alex de Minaur (Australia) in the semifinals.
The prize fund of the China Open is $4 million.
