Legendary Jamaican sprinter, eight-time Olympic champion, 11-time world champion, and world record holder in the 100 and 200 meters, Usain Bolt said that he is not in the best shape right now, as he has not run for over a year.
“I mainly train in the gym, but I don't really like it. I think I need to start running again because now I get out of breath when I climb stairs. I need to get my breathing back,” The Guardian quotes the 39-year-old Bolt as saying.
In June 2024, Usain Bolt tore his Achilles tendon during a charity soccer match. Bolt was playing for the national team at the World Cup against a team of former England stars in a match at Stamford Bridge in London.
