Armenia’s athlete, Gor Minasyan, won a silver medal at the European Under 20 Weightlifting Championships, which wrapped up in Eilat, Israel.
In the +105 kilogram competition, Minasyan—who himself weighed 138 kilograms—snatched 191 kilograms and captured second spot in this category, then he lifted 230 kilograms in the clean & jerk and likewise took second place in this category, and, as a result, Gor Minasyan came in second overall, with lifting a total of 421 kilograms.
