Dembele named Champions League Player of the Season

Ousmane Dembele has been named the Champions League Player of the Season, UEFA announced on its website.

The 28-year-old French striker for Champions League winners, French Ligue 1 champions and cup winners PSG has scored 8 goals and provided 6 assists in 15 appearances in the Champions League this season. And in the final in Munich, Germany, PSG defeated Italian Serie A runners-up Inter Milan 5-0, and Dembele provided two assists.

Separately, PSG's 19-year-old French winger Desire Doue, who netted 2 goals and provided one assist in the aforesaid final, has been named the Champions League Young Player of the Season.
