La Liga: Real and Atletico win, Barca lose

Newly crowned champions Barcelona played at home to Villarreal, but lost 2-3 in the penultimate round of Spanish La Liga football. The Catalan club, however, still lead the current La Liga standings, with 85 points.

Runners-up Real Madrid were hosted by Sevilla and won 2-0 thanks to goals from French striker Kylian Mbappe and English midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Real are second in the current La Liga standings, with 81 points.

Atletico Madrid defeated Real Betis 4-1 at home and are third, with 73 points. Athletic Bilbao beat Valencia 1-0 away game and are fourth, with 70 points.
