We began following the game of Henrikh Mkhitaryan once he turned 16 years old, Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk manager Mircea Lucescu’s assistant Carlo Nicolini stated.
The Italian specialist expressed his views on Armenian national football team and Shakhtar midfielder Mkhitaryan. “Now, he is 23 years old and a phenomenal footballer,” Terrikon, referring to Tuttosport, quotes Nicolini as saying.
To note, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has played in seventeen games so far, in the current season of the Ukrainian league, and scored eighteen goals for his club. He confidently heads the top scorers’ list of the league.
