Reigning champions Inter Milan were hosted by UEFA Europa League titleholders Atalanta in Bergamo and won 2-0 in Round 29 of Italian Serie A football.
Brazilian midfielder Carlos Augusto opened the score in the 54th minute.
In the 81st minute, Atalanta's Brazilian midfielder Ederson was sent off for a second yellow card.
And Argentina national team striker Lautaro Martinez doubled Inter's advantage in the 87th minute.
Former captain of the Armenian national team, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was in the starting lineup for Inter and was subbed off in the 75th minute.
Inter lead the current Serie A standings, with 64 points, and are 3 points clear of Napoli in second place. Atalanta are third, with 58 points.
