YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Henrikh Mokoyan (52 kg) is left out of the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships Yerevan 2012.
Mokoyan had to clash with Cuba’s Luis Kordero Parlay but felt bad during the weigh-in ceremony and was hospitalized. The Armenian boxer is unable to continue the competitions.
Three Armenian boxers are left to enter the ring on Monday.
First of Armenia’s athletes that competed Saturday was Taron Soghomonyan (56 kg), who faced and subsequently defeated his opponent from Uzbekistan.
