Last season’s runners-up Barcelona won 1-0 at home against Rayo Vallecano in Round 24 of Spanish La Liga football.
The only goal of this match was scored in the 28th minute by Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, who converted a penalty.
As a result, Barca have topped the current La Liga standings, with 51 points. Rayo Vallecano are sixth, with 35 points.
