The score of the match opened in the 28th minute after an own goal by the guests' Croatian defender, Marin Pongracic.
In the 44th minute, Fiorentina's Italian midfielder Rolando Mandragora converted a penalty.
And Inter's winning goal was netted in the 52nd minute by Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic.
Former captain of the Armenian national team, midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan was in the starting lineup for Inter, but he was subbed off in the 65th minute.
Inter are second, with 54 points, and 1 point behind leaders Napoli in the current Serie A standings. Fiorentina are sixth, with 42 points.
