Tottenham's English striker Dominic Solanke netted an own goal in the 40th minute.
And Belgian striker Leandro Trossard scored Arsenal's winning goal in the 44th minute.
Arsenal are second, with 43 points, in the current Premier League standings, while Tottenham are thirteenth, with 24 points.
