World No. 1 Jannik Sinner (Italy) defeated world No. 4 Daniil Medvedev (Russia) in two sets—6:3, 6:4—in the last round of the group stage at the ATP World Tour Finals—the men’s last tennis tournament of the year being held in Turin, Italy—and reached the semifinals. Medvedev ended his campaign in this competition.
Taylor Fritz (USA), who defeated Alex de Minaur (Australia) in three sets—5:7, 6:4, 6:3—in the third—and last—round, also reached the semis.
In the other group, Alexander Zverev (Germany) has two wins, Casper Ruud (Norway) and Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) have one win each, whereas Andrey Rublev (Russia) has two losses. All of them retain the chance of reaching the semifinals.
The prize fund of the ATP World Tour Finals is $15,250,000.
