Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino has confirmed that their French midfielder Paul Pogba, who is suspended for anti-doping violations due to high testosterone levels, will leave the club.
The parties are currently negotiating the termination of their contract.
"I can confirm that we are negotiating with Paul Pogba. There is already a decision on the termination of the contract, it remains to reach an agreement on the terms. Pogba will leave Juventus and become a free agent," Scanavino said, Goal.com reports.
Pogba's aforesaid suspension has been reduced from four years to 18 months. As a result, the 31-year-old footballer can resume training in January, and start playing in official matches in March.
