World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has won the US Open title in the men’s singles.
In the final, he defeated world No. 12 Taylor Fritz (USA) in three sets—6:3, 6:4, 7:5. The match lasted 2 hours and 16 minutes.
The 23-year-old Italian tennis star won the US Open for the first time. This year he already won the Australian Open, winning the first title of the Grand Slam tournament.
The prize fund of the US Open is $75 million.
