The Serbian men's water polo team claimed the Olympic champion title at the Paris Games. In the final, the Serbians defeated Croatia 13-11. This marks Serbia's third consecutive Olympic title in men's water polo.
At the 2016 Rio Games, Serbia defeated Greece in the final, and at Tokyo 2020, they once again triumphed over Croatia. The bronze medals at the Paris Games were won by the United States, who defeated Hungary in a penalty shootout for third place.
