Paris 2024: Vazgen Vazgen Tevanyan, bronze medalist of the World Championships and European champion, was defeated at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
In the quarterfinals of the 65 weight category, the Armenian freestyle wrestler lost to World Championship bronze medalist, Asian Games champion, two-time Asian vice-champion Tömör-Ochiryn Tulga from Mongolia with the score 5:7.
In the 1/8 finals Tevanyan defeated the representative of Georgia Goderdzi Dzebisashvili with the score 11:0. He lost with the score 5:7
