The men's national weightlifting team of Armenia is starting their campaign at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games being held in Paris.
Armenia will have one participant Friday: Andranik Karapetyan, in the 89kg category.
Twelve weightlifters will compete for the Olympic title and medals in this category.
This competition will start at 17:00 Armenia time.
The 15-member Armenian Olympic team have already won three medals at Paris 2024: two silver and one bronze. Greco-Roman wrestler Artur Aleksanyan and artistic gymnast Artur Davtyan have become silver medalists, and Greco-Roman wrestler Malkhas Amoyan has won a bronze medal.
