Slavik Galstyan (Armenia), who on Wednesday started his campaign at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, won his second tough match and will vie for a spot to the final in the evening’s competition.
In the Men's Greco-Roman Wrestling 67kg quarterfinals, the world bronze medalist and two-time European bronze medalist faced world and European fifth-place finisher Mamadassa Sylla (France) and won 3-2.
In his starting bout in the Round of 16, Galstyan had defeated two-time Pan American Games champion and three-time Pan American Championship winner Andres Roberto Montano Arroyo (Ecuador), with a score of 3-2, in a tough match.
