Slavik Galstyan, the last representative of Armenia’s national Greco-Roman wrestling team, on Wednesday started his campaign at the 33rd Summer Olympic Games being held in Paris.
The world bronze medalist and two-time European bronze medalist defeated, by a score of 3-2, the two-time Pan American Games champion and three-time Pan American Championship winner, Andres Roberto Montano Arroyo (Ecuador), in a difficult match in the Round of 16 of the Men's 67kg competition.
As a result, Galstyan advanced to the quarterfinals.
