The United States won two more titles in the Athletics program at the Paris Olympics.
Cole Hocker achieved a sensational win in the Men’s 1,500m, and also set an Olympic record 3: 27.65 minutes.
And Gabrielle Thomas won in the Women’s 200m, with 21.83 seconds.
The US is the current leader at the Paris Games in the number of gold medals won—24. China is second, with 22 titles.
Separately 2023 world champion Camryn Rogers (Canada) won the Women's Hammer Throw competition, with 76.97 meters.
And Winfred Mutile Yavi (Bahrain) won the title in the Women's 3,000m Steeplechase. The world champion ran 8.52.76 minutes, which is an Olympic record.
